• Attend coaches and parent preseason meetings
• Read the Portage Youth Basketball Coaching Handbook
• Sign and turn in the Coaching Code of Conduct form
• Hand in all appropriate paperwork and information as the season progresses (i.e. team roster with player phone numbers, parent and athlete code of conduct forms, and sign up/medical forms)
• Keep the Portage Youth Basketball Committee informed during the season
• Make sure all equipment is accounted for and returned at the end of the season
• Attend a post-season coaches meeting
• Discuss the Coaching Evaluation form at the end of the season with the Portage Youth Basketball Committee
